Widget Area Block

Widget Area Block Example

The Widget Area Block registers a custom widget area anywhere in your content for adding traditional widgets. It’s an incredibly useful tool for adding traditional widgets within the block editor. For instance, any Builder Widget can be added to your page using the Widget Area Block.

The example below features a Gallery Widget within the Widget Area Block. However, multiple widgets of any widget type, traditional or block, may be added within the widget area. This is particularity useful if your site is still using traditional WordPress widgets that have not been converted to blocks.
